Accreditation
Accreditation is the process in which certification of competency, authority, or credibility is recognized.
Organizations that issue credentials or certify third parties against official standards are formally accredited by accreditation bodies (such as AAAHC) hence they are sometimes known as “accredited certification bodies”. The accreditation process ensures that their certification practices are acceptable, behave ethically and employ suitable quality assurance.
Dutchess Ambulatory Surgical Center has been successfully accredited since its inception in 1998 with the highest level of accreditation (3 years). Dutchess Ambulatory continues to perform to the highest standard of quality recognized each year by the AAAHC.
