How We Built DASC

Center History

Great things are done by a series of small things brought together

1998

DASC is an INDEPENDENT Same Day Surgical Center, privately owned by local Physicians which was built to more efficiently and caringly meet the needs of their patients who required outpatient surgery.

Established in 1998, over 80,000 cases performed.

2002

Licensed by the State of New York, certified by Medicare.

Surveyed by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC) in 2002, and awarded an unprecedented three year certification, the highest level achievable through AAAHC.

2005

Multi-specialty facility with 2 fully equipped major operating rooms, and an endoscopy or pain management suite.

State of the art technology in every room.

2009

The preoperative and recovery areas are monitored with highly experienced and caring nursing staff.

Our Physicians are locally and nationally known for their expertise in leading edge technology.

Now

Our mission is to provide the standard of excellence by being equipped with the best technology available, and being staffed with only highly skilled, caring professionals.
